Sea Whispers was born during a quiet visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I stood for a long time watching strands of seaweed sway in slow, hypnotic rhythms — not dramatic, not loud, just endlessly alive. In that stillness, it felt as if the sea was speaking softly, not in words, but in movement. This artwork is my attempt to capture that moment: the hush beneath the surface, the gentle pull of water, the feeling that nature is always communicating if we slow down enough to listen.
Tide is the version that holds the feeling of threshold — that charged, in-between moment when the water is neither fully in nor fully out. The acid-green outline running through the sage and shadow carries something electric, like bioluminescence just below the surface. Alive in the dark. Quietly glowing.
